Services

Put simply, we are surgeons who deal with problems of the bowels, bottom, and abdomen

At our Coastal Colorectal, we provide screening services, diagnostic tools and treatment options to manage colorectal and abdominal issues, from piles to colorectal cancer.

Our main focus is colorectal surgery and endoscopy, but we also provide general surgical care. We specialise in minimally-invasive surgery, including key-hole (laparoscopic) and endoscopic (EMR and TAMIS) surgery techniques and endoscopic procedures.

We treat a wide range of conditions including those listed below.

Please note, this list is not exhaustive and does not cover rarer conditions we treat. If you are not sure if your symptoms or condition is treated by our surgeons, please contact us to ask.

Endoscopy

  • Gastroscopy, colonoscopy and polyp removal
  • Interventional endoscopy including stricture dilatation and colonic stenting
  • Endoanal ultrasound

Colorectal Surgery

  • Laparoscopic and Open resections for bowel cancer, diverticular disease, and inflammatory bowel disease
  • General proctology including management of haemorrhoids, fissure, fistula and rectal prolapse

GP Resources

As well as treating patients, we also support GPs who are seeking specialist knowledge or advice.

If you are in our catchment area and have a patient with a colorectal or general surgical concern, we are available for a consult to answer any questions you may have in developing your patient’s treatment plan.
